J. MIQUEL JANE BALTANA SELECCIÓ

This wine shows the good adaptation of the Cabernet Sauvignon (60%) and Merlot (40%) to our vineyards of the estate “Cal Costas.
Maceration with berries to extract its polyphenols and tannins. 
Aged in French and American durmast barriques for 12 months.
Later refined in bottle. With a good tone and clear.

Deep purple. Intense floral nose, with aromas of black cherry, liquorice, underbrush, vanilla and spice. Clean, expressive red & black fruits (cherry & blackberry), and spice. Well-balanced, with good acidity tempered by the alcohol and body. Will develop nicely in the coming years.
